Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Handles incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, dissolutions, continuances, both provincially and federally 
  • Organizing, maintaining and updating corporate files and records in our online corporate database
  • Manages ongoing corporate maintenance including all manners of corporate searches, filings and registrations, limited partnerships and general partnership registrations
  • Assisting with corporate transactions and closings such as share and asset purchase/sale, and tax re-organizations
  • Conducting reviews on basic and complex minute book and corporate records and drafting necessary documentation to rectify deficiencies

Requirements

  • Completion of a Law Clerk Certificate or Diploma or equivalent
  • Will have up to 5 years of experience in a Corporate Clerk role, within a legal environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and proficient in ESC Corporate Services and Ministry/Government search and registration platforms
